Day 2 - Knowing Lima and its history
Explore Lima’s Historic Center (a UNESCO site), wandering its most important streets to admire its architecture, monuments, and traditional bars. Visit the Convent of San Francisco, with its solemn library and chilling catacombs.
Lunch at Larco Museum with a great Pisco Sour.
The Museo Larco was established in 1926 by Rafael Larco Hoyle, houses a fascinating collection of pre-Columbian art composed of around 45,000 objects. Situated in an 18th century viceroyalty mansion and surrounded by beautiful gardens, the Museo Larco is a space that stimulates and inspires, where it is possible to enjoy and learn more about the fascinating history of ancient Peru. Explore more than 5000 years of ancient Peruvian history and the intimate bond that existed between pre-Columbian societies and the natural world.

Day 3 – Lima to Arequipa
Start discovering Arequipa; the second most important and most populated city in Peru, it is also called White City because of its architecture, built with white volcanic stone, called sillar…and what a food!!
At the proper time, your personal concierge who will take you in our private vehicle to the airport to take the flight to Arequipa.
One our later, you will arrive to the White City.

In the afternoon, we will walk around the city touring its emblematic neighborhoods to continue to Santa Catalina Monastery, an enigmatic place full of charm and history. Strolling through the streets of the Monastery of Santa Catalina you will feel as if you have gone back several centuries in time. The silence that occupies each of its corners, the secrets that seem to keep its walls, the bright colors of its walls, its imperfect arches and vaults ... everything you see around you will make you want to stay for many hours in this place.
Day 3 – Lima to Arequipa
Start discovering Arequipa; the second most important and most populated city in Peru, it is also called White City because of its architecture, built with white volcanic stone, called sillar…and what a food!!

Your journey begins heading towards the small town of Chivay. On the way we stop at the National Reserve of Aguada Blanca and Salinas, where you can observe the famous Vicuñas. Then we will stop at the “Pampa Cañahuas” National Reserve, where we will take a short break to observe the wild Vicuñas. Then, arrive to Chivay up to your hotel. Dinner.
Day 4 – Colca Canyon
Your journey begins heading towards the small town of Chivay. On the way we stop at the National Reserve of Aguada Blanca and Salinas, where you can observe the famous Vicuñas.
Then we will stop at the “Pampa Cañahuas” National Reserve, where we will take a short break to observe the wild Vicuñas. Then, arrive to Chivay up to your hotel. Dinner.
Day 5 – Colca Canyon – Puno
Very early in the morning we will go to “Cruz del Condor”. Arriving there, we have plenty of time to enjoy the majestic Condors in its natural habitat. We will stop for Lunch in Chivay before hitting the road in the direction of Puno, crossing the amazing sceneries of the Altiplano and leaving behind the gorgeous scenery of the Colca Canyon. On our way, we continue ascending a small road until we reach the highest point of our trip, the lookout points of the Andes (4800 m/15,748 ft). Arrive Puno and Transfer to your hotel.

Day 5 – Colca Canyon – Puno

Early in the morning, your guide will take you to the highest navigable lake in the world, Lake Titicaca; travel this magical lake until you reach to the Uros Islands. These are small, man-made very colorful islands constructed by the people of Uros from layers upon layers of cut totora (a thick buoyant grass that grows abundantly in the shallow areas of Lake Titicaca.

Taquile is a natural island privileged by nature. The inhabitants of this island are especially known for their fine textiles, which are among the finest Peruvian handicrafts.

Your guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the train station to go to Machu Picchu Pueblo.
Once there, you will take the bus up to the citadel and enjoy and dream of those times while your experienced guide takes you back in time.
Once the tour is over, we go down to the village to have lunch and return to Cusco at the Harim Bingham super deluxe train to back to Cusco. Relax in Pullman-style carriages from the 1920s, adorned with polished wood and brass, and enjoy gourmet meals, vibrant entertainment, and unmatched views.
